Volta Motor was founded in 2010 by Mustafa İnci and Fatih Bayraktar with the vision of building the future of electric mobility. Named after Alessandro Volta, the inventor of the modern battery, our brand has aimed to transform urban transportation by developing innovative and accessible electric vehicle solutions.

Our Story
With our focus on R&D and innovation, we conduct studies on battery technologies, fast charging systems, and long-range solutions at our R&D center located in the TÜBİTAK MARTEK Technology Free Zone. As one of the few companies in Turkey with a design center certification, we make a difference in the sector.
With our product portfolio consisting of electric motorcycles, e-scooters, and light commercial vehicles, we offer eco-friendly, economical, and high-performance transportation alternatives to individual and corporate users.
Exporting to more than 50 countries, Volta Motor continues its global growth with showrooms and logistics centers in Germany and the UK. We are moving forward with the goal of becoming a brand that shapes the mobility world of the future.

Production in Düzce
Production and technology
As Volta Motor, we develop electric motorcycles, e-scooter models, and light commercial electric vehicles by manufacturing at the highest quality standards. Our production facility located in Düzce has an annual production capacity of 300,000 vehicles.
In our R&D center, we continue to make a difference in the sector by developing innovative solutions in critical areas such as battery efficiency, fast charging technology, and long-range capacity.

Company timeline and development process
Exporting to more than 50 countries, Volta Motor is spreading sustainable mobility worldwide. With showrooms and logistics centers in Germany and the UK, our brand continues to grow in the international market.
Establishment
2010
Company Establishment: The foundations of the Antalya-based company for electric vehicle retail were laid.
2011
First Sale: The first sales operation in the electric motorcycle segment has been completed.
2013
Initiation of the Production Process: The company's first electric scooter production has been successfully completed.
2014
Production of our company's proprietary components, including the initial chassis, side stands, handlebars, and metal parts, has commenced.
2015
The Gümüşova Organized Industrial Zone Integrated Production Facility has been commissioned and put into operation.
Growth and Globalization
2017
Successful execution of the first export organization.
2018
Manufacturing and launching our first internal combustion vehicle to the market.
2019
Technology and R&D: A new factory has been opened in the Gebze TÜBİTAK MAM Technology Free Zone. The first Volta Factory Outlet Store has begun operations.
2021
Expanding to Global Markets: Ties have been strengthened with many countries in exports; leadership has been achieved in multiple global markets.
2022
European Market Investments: Volta Motor representation opened in Germany. A third production facility investment was made in Cumayeri, Düzce.
Development and Digitalization
2023
Volta Motor Limited was established in England. Renewable energy investments were commissioned; the transition to a smart factory model was implemented.
2024
New Production Facilities: The investment for the fourth and new factory in Çilimli has been completed.
2025
E-commerce Operations: Volta Motor has achieved a first in the industry by offering vehicle sales to its users in a digital environment.
