Electric bikes are treated like bicycles under the Highway Traffic Law, so no licence is required. Mopeds may be ridden with an M-class licence; B-class licence holders may also ride M-class vehicles. Motorcycles require an A1, A2 or A licence depending on engine size and power.
Electric bikes, kick-scooters and technopeds made by Volta Motor do not require a plate. Gasoline mopeds and motorcycles, and electric mopeds, motorized bicycles and motorcycles, do require plate registration.

We do not sell from the factory. You can place an order on our website. Online orders are delivered to your home by Volta. Our other sales channel is authorised dealers.
All components are warranted against manufacturing defects for 2 years under the terms in the warranty certificate. After delivery, users must start the warranty within one month and have periodic maintenance done at Volta Motor authorised services.
There is no charge for installation or warranty start. Extra work requested from authorised services (accessories, alarm, lock, etc.) is chargeable.
Model-specific maintenance intervals are in the user manual.
Deliveries are made free of charge within 30 business days from the Volta Motor authorised service or delivery point nearest your address. Home delivery is available on request for a fee.
Traffic insurance is mandatory for motorcycles of 50 cc and above.
Spare parts are sold by our authorised services. Use the “service” section on our website to contact the nearest authorised service.
If a part is damaged or missing, our authorised service prepares a PDI form and sends it to us.
Vehicles for which SCT has been paid and registration completed cannot be returned. For returns, contact the dealer or platform you bought from.
You will be informed on your contact number when the product reaches the authorised service.
Fill in the authorised dealer/service application form on our website and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Please ask the authorised service where you left the vehicle about the repair.
Registration documents are sent by the dealer or online platform you bought from.
If the certificate was not in the product or was lost, tell the authorised dealer/service that delivered it and they will help.
If you will not use the vehicle for a long period, such as in winter, follow the storage guide in the user manual.
Modifying the vehicle or replacing original parts may breach safety and the law. We do not recommend any change that does not comply with regulations.
The seller pays the vehicle’s SCT.
In gasoline categories, vehicles of 100 cc and above are subject to MTV. In electric categories, vehicles of 6 kW and above are subject to MTV. No electric vehicle made by Volta Motor has 6 kW or more, so none is subject to MTV.
